How it works
- We get the question clear.. We talk about what you need and whether a home visit is the right format for it.
- You pick a time.. The calendar shows the slots available, and the hour you choose is held for you.
- We work at home.. In the first session we meet, put what is happening in order and decide the next step together. A session lasts about an hour. An assessment sometimes takes two visits, and I tell you beforehand.

When a home visit helps
When I come to you, we work in your own surroundings and you do not have to get anywhere. It can help if mobility is limited, if you tire easily, if organising the day has become difficult, or if there are changes in memory that show up more clearly at home than anywhere else.
The aim is the same as it would be anywhere: understand what is happening, agree a plan, and check whether that plan is helping. You always know beforehand what we are going to work on.
We talk about what you need before the visit, so I can prepare the session and tell you honestly whether home is the right format for your case.
Someone coming into an English-speaking home
A home visit means a professional walking into a house where Spanish may not be the language anybody relaxes in. That is worth saying out loud, because it changes who has to do the work of translating — which is nobody, here.
The session runs in English, including the parts where the family joins. That matters most where it usually goes wrong: nobody should be finding out what a report says through a relative translating on the spot, and no child should be interpreting a conversation about their own grandparent.
Where I come to in Granada
In the city itself, any district: Centro, Realejo, Albaicín, Zaidín, Chana, Beiro, Ronda. Out in the metropolitan belt: Armilla, Maracena, Albolote, La Zubia, Ogíjares, Huétor Vega, Churriana de la Vega, Las Gabias, Cájar and Monachil.
That list is worth more than it looks if you have not been here long. It means you do not need a car, you do not need to work out which bus goes into the city and which one comes back, and you do not need to give an address over the phone in Spanish. You send it to me in writing and I come to you.
Travel counts as part of the session time, so the area moves the figure a little. Working that out is not your job: I give you the closed price for your case in the first consultation, which is free. If you live further out than that, write to me before ruling it out.
Therapy and neuropsychology at home
We can work on work stress, exam and competition pressure, childhood and families, memory, or a full neuropsychological assessment.
The neuropsychological assessment is always carried out in person, at home. It is never done by video call, whatever the reason for asking.
Frequently asked questions
What does a home visit cost?
Travel is part of the session time, so the area of Granada can move the figure a little. I close the price for your case in the first consultation, which is free. The reference figures are in /en/prices/.
Do I need to get anything ready at home?
Just somewhere with enough privacy for us to talk without interruptions. I bring the material.
Is a home visit as private as a consulting room?
We find a time and a corner where you can talk without being overheard. If your home does not allow for that, we do it by video call instead: you should not have to choose between privacy and not travelling.
Can neuropsychological assessments be done at home too?
Yes, and it is the only way they are done: the assessment is always in person, never by video call. Your home meets that requirement as well as any consulting room, and sometimes better, because the environment is part of what needs to be seen.
